Inheritance Tax Calculation Formula

The following formula is used to calculate the inheritance tax from your estate value.

Inheritance Tax = Estate Value * (State Tax Rate / 100)

Variables:

• Inheritance Tax is the amount of tax to be paid ($)
• Estate Value is the value of the estate being inherited ($)
• State Tax Rate is the percentage of tax applied to the estate (%)
